Understanding Hair Loss and Hair Restoration Consultation

There are many reasons why a person will begin to experience hair loss.  The cause may be an inherited condition, hormonal, nutritional, physiological, autoimmune, psychological, environmental, taking of certain medications, or any combination of these.  Some hair loss problems may be temporary and self-correcting.  Other conditions such as genetic thinning, Female and Male Hair Loss can be stabilized, but if not treated, can cause permanent hair loss due to follicle miniaturization.  We recommend treating the disorder early with a therapeutic program that will produce results if completed.

During your initial hair loss or scalp disorder consultation, we will provide a microscopic hair and scalp examination.  We adopt a holistic approach to the problem of hair loss and scalp disorders and will examine your general health, family history, lifestyle and other relevant factors that can cause hair loss.  We will take some digital photos of your scalp and hair loss to keep on file, checking for any deficiencies, and other factors that may lead to imbalances that relate to hair loss.  A microscopic examination of the hair is required to give a true trichologist proper diagnosis of the disorder.

Please note that there is a difference between analyses consulting and a consultation hair loss analysis of the hair and scalp.  Many companies will provide a free hair and scalp analysis to see how the hair is thinning, but we also check for follicle damage and build-up on the scalp that causes clogged follicles.  When a client is having hair loss or scalp disorders that may relate to their health, they are in need of a trichology hair loss consultation analysis, which endeavors to identify the reason the client is having hair loss and to recommend treatments and hair loss options. In some cases, a doctor may be recommended due to health concerns of a client.  A trained trichologist will understand the disorders and treatments, and not just apply hair grafts, extensions or hair replacement for you.  We are a trichology hair loss center, a certified medical hair loss, hair reconstruction and hair replacement center that can help you. Choose below which analyses or consultation analysis best fits your needs.

• Healthier Hair and Scalp Care Analyses
  For healthier, shinier hair with body, your scalp should be free from build-up and flakes that slow the growth of your hair.  If your hair or scalp is itchy, dry or thinning, you may need a Follicle Detox treatment to remove build-up from the scalp or un-block DHT in the follicle. DHT are enzymes that can thin or stop your hair from growing.  In this analysis consultation you will have a FREE Micro Scope Analysis of your scalp and hair with a treatment that takes 45 minutes for $50.00. Style is not included in this treatment. 

• Hair Shaft Analyses
  If your Hair is in distress or breaking, you may need a hair shaft analyses to see if the hair shaft is weak and to determine location.  A micro shaft hair analyses will identify where the weak places are in your hair  that can be caused by chemicals or natural hair styles. You will be given a Micro Analyses to see which stage of the hair growth circle your hair is in, recommend treatments for breakage or damaged hair and sample products to use at home (1 ½ hour analyses for external hair breakage, not thinning hair). The cost is $150.00for microscope analyses, treatment and style. 
• Hair or Scalp Disorder Consultation Analysis
  This is a more in-depth consultation of the hair and scalp. If your hair or scalp has any of the types of disorders such as dandruff, itchy, red bumps, folliculitis, eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, or seborrhea dermatitis, you will need to have this type of consultation. We will analyze the hair and scalp up close with a digital microscope to determine which disorder you may have, or if a medical doctor is necessary. If so, we will recommend a doctor for you.  We will also recommend a treatment and alternative lifestyle package.
  This consultation is $200.00 – it requires you to complete a questionnaire analysis, followed by hair or scalp treatment started and a basic hair style is included (wrap or flat iron). Sample products and alternative program for home treatments are also provided. 

• Your Hair and Your Health Analysis
  Many times when you have hair or scalp disorders it can be a reflection of your health. Sometimes health imbalances will show first signs in your hair or skin. During this consultation, you will fill out a questionnaire which we need for accurate analysis and also to help in the essential analysis of body weakness that relates to your hair and skin. A computer analysis is also provided to show body system weakness, after which you will be given a print out with recommendations. A alternative nutritional deficiencies plan is also provided to help in the areas that are effects your hair.  The alternative nutritional starter package is an alternative to better health and lifestyle changes, which stimulate hair growth and healthier skin.  A FREE microscope analysis is also taken of the scalp. The cost of this consultation is $135.00with alternative package. 
• Toxic Hair Elements Analysis
  When the hair or scalp is not responding to treatments, you are experiencing diffuse hair loss, hair won’t stop breaking or is not growing (short hair), we may need to send your hair to the lab for a intense analysis of the hair shaft to identify imbalances, weakness and deficiencies on a cellular level.  The hair that is sent in to the lab for analysis has to be untreated and free of any chemicals.  The cost of this analysis is $285.00 – Your hair is sent to a Lab and a complete print out (body weakness) is returned to you.

• Medical Hair Loss and Hair Replacement Analyses Consulting
  During this consultation, you will learn about your alternatives to Hair Loss and what treatments and options are available. There are hair replacement systems that will work for you to treat any type of hair loss.  Our systems are available for men, women and children experiencing hair loss. They look natural and feel like real skin. If you are experiencing hair loss, medical treatments that require a medical or cranial prosthesis or hair grafts, we can design a system that won’t change your look.  A FREE microscopic analysis of your scalp and hair will be given with this consultation.  If you are wearing a system from some other company and you are unhappy with it, we will give you a free hair exchange. Call for further details.  There is a $60.00consulting fee for new clients that are in need of a system that will be apply/credited toward the price of your hair replacement system. 
• Online Hair and Scalp Analysis and How they Relate To Your Health
  This includes an analysis questionnaire for imbalances, nutritional deficiencies, family history and questionnaire for hair and scalp disorders.  You may need to send in a sample of your hair for a hair shaft analysis. There is a $35.00 fee for the microscope analysis of disorders.  There are 3 online consultation meetings and a follow-up meeting. The first #1 is the introduction which takes about 15-30 minutes;  #2 the second consultation takes about an 1  1/2 hours, and #3 a 15-30 min follow up consultation, for which date will be set after meeting #2. There will be products, nutritional plan for healthier hair and/or alternative healthier lifestyle program package, to stimulate hair growth, for healthier hair.   We will also set up a home treatment plan for your hair or scalp disorders.   This is a great consultation if you live out of town and is also good for clients that have dandruff, psoriasis, scalp odors & seborrhea).  There is a $185.00 fee for this consultation that is for 1 hour ½ and a follow up call for ½ hour.

• Trichology Hair Loss Consultation
  This consultation is for men, women or children that are experiencing hair loss, thinning, diffuse hair loss, alopecia areata or androgenetic alopecia, which can be in any hair loss pattern characterized by progressive thinning-out of the top, temple and/or crown areas of the scalp. Our Trichology Hair Loss Consultation Analysis is specifically designed for hair loss, genetic hair loss, hair follicle damage, clogged follicle analysis, hair density, and hormonal imbalances. In this consultation you will be given questionnaires that address imbalances, your diet, stress levels, body PH levels, and lifestyle. There will also be an analysis of any nutritional deficiencies, family history, questionnaire for hair, scalp disorders and medical history. If needed, we may ask you to see a doctor for a blood test analysis that may relate to your hair loss.  A microscope analysis of your hair shaft will be provided as well. A Digital Microscope is used to analyze your hair loss, thinning, diffuse hair loss, scalp disorders and the hair shaft. There will be – 1 ½ hours of consulting which includes questionnaires that need to be filled out. This will give us more information about your hair and body weaknesses and the effect they are having on your hair or scalp.  There is a follow-up consultation in a week or when results are returned from the lab.  This consultation is $250.00 for thinning or diffuse hair loss, which includes hair and scalp shampoo, scalp detox with massage, follicle treatment and DHT therapy, follicle stimulator therapy, nutritional hair starter package and sample hair products for home.  This consultation is also good for clients that have dandruff, psoriasis, scalp odors & seborrhea).
